Confused by Social Media for Business? 

 

Swindon journalist and media consultant Fiona Scott is inviting small business owners and entrepreneurs to attend two workshops on Twitter and Google+ on  Tuesday 13 May 2014. 

Fiona, who runs a Wiltshire blog Mums In Media and has worked in the media for 25 years, has organized the event which will be held for the morning only at Bowman House, Bowman Court, Whitehill Way, Royal Wootton Bassett.  

Fiona will be running the Twitter workshop and fellow entrepreneur Jackie Hutchings will be leading a separate course on Google+. 

The cost is £45 a place on either course plus online booking fee.

“These two workshops are designed for business owners, employees and those working within local charities who know they should be more effective on social media but don’t know what to do, or, often what not to do," Fiona (pic. right) says. 

“Social media offers free marketing tools which, with a little thought, can bring the same benefits has face-to-face networking. 

“Too many workshops involve a course leader imparting information for several hours. These events are hands-on where guests will start working together on their strategies in the room on the day.”
